Ali Su obtained her BSc (Honours) in Property Studies from UCT in 2006. Following her studies she joined the Department of Transport & Public Works in their Property Management Department for a year, after which she joined the Valuation Department at Old Mutual. During her time at Old Mutual she completed valuations of the Old Mutual portfolio as well as for external clients. She left Old Mutual in 2013 to live in Kuwait. Upon returning and after a short stint at JHI she re-joined the Old Mutual Valuation team until its closure in February 2017. She has 10 years experience in the property valuation industry. Over the years she has also been an active member of SA Institute of Valuers.

Bruce commenced his career at Southern Life Properties in 1981 where he gained experience in management of property such as Property Administration, Property Leasing, Asset Management, Property Marketing and Property Valuation. His strong bias towards Property Administration created a strong foundation for the interpretation of property related legal documentation from Title Deeds to complex and intricate Lease Documentation. This has proved invaluable to his Property Valuation career after qualifying in Property Valuation in 1997. After Southern Life was merged into Rand Merchant Bank, Bruce joined the Valuation Division of Old Mutual and was involved in the valuation of listed and privately-owned properties outside of the Old Mutual portfolio until the closure of the Valuation Division in 2017.

After completing her BSc (Hons) Property Studies in 2006 from UCT, Carrie began her property valuation candidacy at CB Richard Ellis in Cape Town (now known as Broll Valuations). By the end of 2008 she had successfully become a Professional Associated Valuer achieving the second highest national result in the SACPVP examination. Carrie remained at Broll for a further 4 years before accepting a role of Senior Valuer and Due Diligence Expert at JHI Properties during which time she became a Professional Valuer. From 2014 to 2016 Carrie consulted to various property services companies providing an ad hoc property valuation service as well as completing property valuations in her own capacity. Currently Carrie is enrolled as a student member of the RICS.

Magdelene joined Old Mutual in 1979 where she worked in various business units. She was appointed in the Old Mutual Properties division in 1988 as Property Portfolio Manager, after which she joined the Property Valuations Division as a Valuer-in-training in 1991. She completed her National Diploma in Valuations in 1994 and is currently a registered Professional Valuer with 26 years’ experience in the property valuations industry. During her time at Old Mutual she completed valuations of the Old Mutual property portfolio, which included properties in Old Mutual Namibia, as well as for various external clients. Magdelene had 37 years’ service with Old Mutual at the time of the closure of the Valuation Division in February 2017.
